When you install Prodofoto, we access certain data from your Shopify store through Shopify's API:

We process the product images you select for AI generation. These images are temporarily stored for processing and may be retained to improve our service quality.
2.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information about your use of the Service:
- Number of generations and credit usage
- Feature usage patterns
- Error logs and performance data

2.4 Generated Images
Images generated by our AI are stored temporarily to allow you to review and publish them to your store. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data about generations for service improvement.

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Prodofoto:
4.1 Google Gemini (AI Processing)
Your product images are processed using Google's Gemini AI models. Images are sent to Google's servers for AI generation. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information on how they handle data.
4.2 Cloudflare R2 (Image Storage)
Generated images are temporarily stored using Cloudflare R2. Data is stored securely and deleted according to our retention policy.
4.3 Shopify
We integrate with Shopify for authentication, billing, and publishing images to your store. Shopify's privacy policy governs data they collect and process.
5. Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud infrastructure with access controls
- Regular security assessments
- Limited employee access to production data
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data: Retained while your app is installed, plus 30 days after uninstallation
- Generated images: Stored for 30 days unless published to your store
- Usage logs: Retained for 90 days
- Billing records: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us.
